TOOLS REQUIRED:
Vice
2 Flat-blade large screwdrivers
4mm pin punch
Small hammer
Gear removal tool
Place the old motor in the vice. Align the top of the motor with the top of the vice jaws. Tighten the jaws until you hear the motor 'crack'
Slot on the Gear Removal Tool, as per the first photo, fitting all the way on.
Place the two flat-blade screwdrivers under the Gear Removal Tool then gently lever screwdrivers in the down position, therefore pulling hte gear off the old motor shaft.
NOTE: Gear is soft and vulnerable to damage, so utmost care is required as to not bruise the teeth.Keep the gear as it's required soon! Remove and discard old motor from the vice.
Place the new motor vertically on a solid flat surface
NOTE: DO NOT clamp the new motor in any way.Locate the gear on the end of the motor shaft
Using the 4mm punch and small hammer, gently tap the gear onto shaft until flush.
